Sello is made by Automatic Pictures. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Sello on your Mac.
What Sello collects
Nothing. Sello has no accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking, and contains no third-party code that collects data. Automatic Pictures never receives your stamps, captures, recordings or settings.
Your screen
Sello reads your screen only when you make a stamp, and only the area you select. macOS asks for your permission the first time. You can withdraw it at any time in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Screen & System Audio Recording.
Where your stamps are kept
Your stamps, recordings and settings, including any collector name you enter, are stored only on your Mac.
Sharing
Sello shares a stamp only when you share, copy, drag or export it, and only with the app or person you choose.
Emails to us
If you write to us, for example with Send Feedback, we receive your email address, your message, and the Sello and macOS versions added to it. We use them only to reply to you, and delete them on request.
Deleting your data
Deleted stamps go to Sello's Trash, which empties itself after 30 days. Delete Immediately removes a stamp at once. Sello's library stays on your Mac until you delete it: to remove it completely, quit Sello and delete the folder Library/Containers/pictures.automatic.sello in your home folder.
Children
Sello collects no information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
