These terms govern your use of Doodle. By downloading or using the app you accept them. They sit alongside Apple's Media Services Terms, which also apply to anything obtained through the App Store.
Your licence
You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use Doodle on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not sell, rent, sub-licence, or redistribute the app, and you may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive its source code except where law expressly permits it.
Your work is yours
Everything you draw in Doodle belongs to you. We claim no ownership, no licence, and no rights whatsoever over your drawings, your brushes, or anything you export. You may use them commercially without permission, payment, or attribution. Since your work never reaches us, we could not make a claim on it even if we wanted to.
Content you bring in
You are responsible for the material you place into a drawing. Do not import photographs or artwork you do not have the right to use.
Keeping your own backups
Doodle stores your drawings on your device. Deleting the app deletes them. Devices are lost, broken, and replaced, and software has faults — so keep your own backups, whether through the app's iCloud setting, your device backup, or by exporting work that matters to you. We cannot recover anything for you, because we never have a copy.
The app is provided as it is
Doodle is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or future version of iOS.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, work, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use Doodle. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app.Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits any right you hold as a consumer that cannot lawfully be waived.
Changes to the app
Doodle may change over time. Features may be added, altered, or withdrawn, and support for older versions of iOS may end. We are not obliged to maintain any particular feature indefinitely.
Ending this licence
This licence continues until ended. It ends automatically if you breach these terms, and you may end it at any time by deleting the app. Sections 2, 5, 6, and 9 survive.
Apple
Because Doodle is distributed through the App Store, the following apply:This agreement is between you and us alone, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for Doodle or its contents.Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for Doodle.If Doodle fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to Doodle.We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim relating to Doodle, including product liability, any failure to conform to legal requirements, and claims under consumer protection or similar legislation.We, not Apple, are responsible for investigating and defending any third-party claim that Doodle infringes intellectual property rights.You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of SPAIN, without regard to conflict of law principles, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive authority over any dispute — save for any right you have as a consumer to bring proceedings where you live.
