Nothing. Doodle has no servers, no database, and no way to receive your information. We cannot see your drawings, your brushes, or how you use the app, because none of it is ever sent to us.
What stays on your iPad
Everything you make in Doodle is written to the app's own private storage on your device:Your drawings, including every stroke, layer, and setting.Any photographs you place into a drawing, stored as a copy inside the app.Brushes you create in the Brush Studio.Preferences such as your chosen appearance and panel positions.This data is covered by your device's own protections and is removed when you delete the app.
iCloud backup
Doodle offers an optional iCloud backup, which is switched off by default. If you turn it on, the app writes a copy of each drawing into your iCloud Drive, in a folder named Doodle that you can open in the Files app.That copy is stored in your own Apple account. It does not pass through us, and we have no access to it. How Apple handles it is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Switching the setting off stops further copies being written.
Photographs
When you add a photograph, Doodle uses Apple's system photo picker. The app is never granted access to your photo library — the picker runs outside the app and hands back only the single image you chose. That is why Doodle never asks for photo permission.
Exporting and sharing
When you export a drawing as PNG, JPEG, SVG, or PDF, or share a brush, the file is handed to the standard iOS share sheet. Where it goes from there is your choice, and once it arrives it is governed by whatever app or service you sent it to. Doodle is not involved in that transfer and keeps no record of it.
If you write to us
The Send Feedback and Share an Idea options open your email app with a message addressed to us. If you choose to send it, we will have your email address and whatever you wrote. We use it only to reply, we do not add you to any list, and we do not share it with anyone.
Links out of the app
Rate Doodle and the More From Us section open the App Store. Following them hands you to Apple, whose privacy policy then applies.
Children
Doodle is suitable for all ages. Because the app collects no information from anyone, it collects none from children either.
Selling data
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share personal information, because we do not have any to sell.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published at this address with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
